As a fervent devotee of horology and a collector of fine watches, Carlos Dias finally decided to dedicate himself entirely to this luxury goods sector in 1993.Building on the vast range of experience accumulated during his fruitful career, he decided to found his own company during the summer of 1995, under the name SOGEM (Soci¨¦t¨¦ Genevoise des Montres). The title Manufacture Roger Dubuis appeared in 1999 only when Carlos Dias deemed the firm ¡°deserved and was not usurping the status of a Manufacture¡±. In 2001, he designed the new corporate headquarters built in Meyrin (Geneva). In 2004, he completed the second phase of this industrial complex that greatly enhances the brand¡¯s credibility.
